Before your conversion

When you are ready to convert to a later version then it is important that your database is both well prepared and ready for the conversion. We have seen many times where the conversion was rushed and not executed correctly with the result being a new database with a number of issues:

  • Incomplete data and/or missing notes and or history
  • Corrupted data leading to further corruption upon conversion.
  • Missing attachments as they must be in the correct folder structure during the conversion process.
  • Incorrect user alignment to specific data.

How to avoid the conversion blues.

There are some guidelines to ensuring a successful conversion. If you follow these rules then our hundreds of conversions are testament to a methodology used for more than 6 years.

Our conversion process offers the following alternatives:

  • Successful conversion from version 3,4,5 or 6.
  • Alignment and conversion of all attached emails and documents.
  • Resolve issues regarding endless recurring activities.
  • Structure additional address fields so they convert successfully
  • Resolve issues with phone fields
  • Sort issues with illegal field name characters (for SQL database there are some non usable characters)
  • Resolve issues with renamed core fields
  • Sort out fields which may truncate upon conversion.
  • Any duplicate field names which will be a problem during conversion.
